Huma Qureshi recently recalled shooting a rain sequence with her Toxic co-star Kiara Advani, who was pregnant at the time. Huma revealed that she was battling a terrible headache during the scene but refrained from complaining after seeing how effortlessly Kiara continued shooting despite being heavily pregnant. At the Toxic pre-release event in Chennai, Huma spoke about Kiara and clarified that the anecdote did not contain any spoilers. Addressing the audience, she said, “Guys, I have to say a few things about Kiara, it’s not spoiler.”Huma then recalled a particular scene that involved a lot of rain. “But, there was a scene where we were a part of, there was a lot of rain involved,” she said. Talking about Kiara’s condition at the time, Huma added, “And, she (Kiara) was just about to have her baby. And we were getting drenched in the rain and I had a terrible headache.”

The actress admitted that there were several moments when she felt like complaining about the difficult conditions, but seeing Kiara continue with the shoot motivated her to carry on.
“Every single time I wanted to complain I would look at her and, you know she was what she 6 months?, almost pregnant,” Huma said, with Kiara confirming it by nodding.Huma continued, “And, she was just standing there doing that scene. Standing like a rock. Just looking at her I was like, ‘Oh my god, that is so inspiring.’” Huma ended her heartfelt praise for Kiara by saying, “I love you loads.” The Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups team held its Tamil pre-release event in Chennai on Monday, August 24, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, following the postponement of the originally scheduled August 23 event.
