Toyota Innova Hycross Spotted

The Toyota Innova has been one of the most successful products from the brand, and it continues to be so with its latest Hycross. And now, a test mule of the Innova has been spotted testing, hinting towards an awaited update. The popular 7-seater does get a great suite of features along with a comfortable cabin and a fuel-efficient engine. However, it looks like the Japanese brand will be offering more features to the MPV. The test mule was heavily camouflaged, revealing little to no details.

However, we believe that Toyota will be offering a new grille, as from the side profile, the front fascia of the MPV looks boxy and upright with no ridges. We expect to see new taillights, possibly connected taillights. Moreover, Toyota could offer a revised front and rear bumper, upgraded headlights, and a new set of alloy wheels. Now, let’s dive into what else the Innova Hycross facelift could have to offer.

What To Expect?

The Innova Hycross facelift could bring in a few new features. It is likely that the dashboard design and overall layout will remain as they are. However, much like the new Hilux, we could expect to see a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen and a fully digital instrument cluster. We can also expect to see rear ventilated seats in the top-spec model. Toyota could also upgrade the ADAS from level 2 to level 2+, for better safety and convenience. Other existing features are expected to remain unchanged. On the powertrain front, Toyota is expected to bring in a flex-fuel version of the Innova Hycross, which will be compatible with E85 and E100 fuels.

Apart from that, the engine options are expected to remain as they are. Industry sources suggested that Toyota could bring in a lower variant of the Innova Hycross to replace the Innova Crysta, as it is expected to be discontinued in 2027. However, as Toyota recently updated the Crysta for the model year 2026, the Innova Hycross might just remain the premium alternative while the Crysta will continue to be offered for fleet operators. With the updates, the new Innova Hycross could carry a price tag ranging from Rs 24 lakh to Rs 41 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
