New-Gen Maruti Brezza – What’s New?
The teaser shares a glimpse of the updated compact SUV. Whilst, it doesn’t reveal much, but we can see that the updated SUV could boast a very identical design, with cosmetic updates.
Speaking of the design changes, expect redesigned headlamp and taillamp units, along with redesigned bumpers at front and rear, a new set of alloys. Along with that we expect the model to get new colour schemes to freshen up its styling compared to the outgoing model.
The interior could see addition of some new features like a big infotainment unit, better sound system, a panoramic sunroof and more. At this moment, the chances of this compact SUV getting ADAS looks slim.
Another significant update would be the inclusion of an underbody CNG kit. We have already spotted the model being tested with that. Apart from that we also expect a smaller 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine or either a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine to be added with the updated model.
Expected price –
Maruti has confirmed that it will launch this updated Compact SUV on 23 July. Prices are also expected to be revealed on the same day. Now if Maruti brings in the lower cc petrol engine, it could help the brand to price this SUV competitively against the rivals. That said, we expect the upcoming new-gen Maruti Brezza to be priced between Rs 8.5 lakh and Rs 16 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
