The Skoda Kushaq is Skoda’s best-selling product in India, which is why the Czech automaker brings frequent updates to it. Its variants received a refresh earlier this year, and Skoda is set to launch an all-new variant within the next 2 months. Attention Readers! Skoda Kylaq Sportline – What To Expect
Skoda has confirmed it will launch the Sportline variant of the Kylaq in the 3rd quarter of 2026 (July-September). We are halfway through the month of July, and it is unlikely that we will see it being launched this month. Speculation suggests that it will be launched in September. The Kushaq, Slavia, and Kodiaq all offer Sportline variants, and this trim usually sits just below the top-end variant. The same case is expected with the Kylaq Sportline, which will sit below the top Prestige variant. It would also get a Sportline + variant with a couple of additional features over the standard Sportline trim. This new variant could be priced between Rs 13 lakh and Rs 14 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
With the Sportline trim, the changes would be primarily aesthetic. The interior and exterior could get sporty touches and blacked-out elements to remind you that you are sitting in a sporty car. Some of the expected design tweaks include newer alloys and colour schemes, as well as all-black bumpers.

Skoda Kylaq Sportline – Features & Specifications
Keep in mind that this is just the Sportline variant and not a full-blown RS. This means the engine and feature specs would be identical to those of the standard model. It may miss out on some of the equipment from the top trim and would share most of the features with the Signature+ variant. Some of its expected features include –
Rear defogger
Wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay
Electric sunroof
Cooled glovebox
Automatic climate control
10.1-inch infotainment screen
8-inch digital driver’s display
Automatic headlamps
The same 1.0-litre TSI (114bhp & 178Nm) will power the Sportline trims. Skoda offers the 6-speed torque converter gearbox on the lower variants, and the Sportline would also get this unit as an alternative to the 6-speed manual gearbox.
