Maruti Brezza Facelift – What’s New?

A video has now gone viral online, revealing all the details about the upcoming Maruti SUV. The video highlights all the changes that will come with the facelifted Maruti Brezza. On the exteriors, the updated compact SUV will boast cosmetic changes, including a new grille, revised headlamps and taillamps, and redesigned bumpers.

On the inside too, the model boasts several changes, including a new 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen unit that is taken from the Maruti Victoris. The video also showcases that the AC controls are situated on the screen and on the panel below. Other features seen on the model include a single-pane sunroof, ventilated seats, ambient lighting, a wireless charging pad, and more. While the SUV in the video doesn’t get a panoramic sunroof, there’s a very slim chance that Maruti could launch this with the new Brezza.

On the safety front, the Brezza will have features like 6 airbags (standard), a 360-degree camera, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, vehicle exit warning, TPMS, front parking sensors, emergency stop signal (ESS), and more.

Along with that, the new Maruti Brezza will also get a new powertrain and transmission setup. According to our sources, the SUV will get a 1.0-litre BoosterJet turbo petrol engine from the Fronx. With that, the SUV will also continue with the 1.5-litre NA petrol engine, the same unit as the current one. Another interesting update will be in the transmission setup – the Brezza will now include a 6-speed Manual as an update from the old 5-speed manual unit, and a 6-speed AT gearbox. The inclusion of a lower-capacity engine will help Maruti save some lakhs over the new model.
