New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) newly appointed national office-bearers at the party headquarters in New Delhi on Saturday. PM Modi arrived at the BJP headquarters in the evening, soon after the party passed a resolution on the honour and historic legacy of ‘Vande Mataram’ and announced a nationwide campaign to raise awareness about the National Song’s history and significance. Sharing a group photo of the meeting, PM Modi took to X and wrote, “Organisational meetings are all about new ideas and perspectives aimed at strengthening the Party and deepening connect with the people. Great interaction with fellow Party colleagues and the new organisational team!”
The meeting was the BJP national office-bearers’ first gathering since Nitin Nabin announced his new team earlier this week. The 65-member panel features 51 newly appointed office-bearers.The meeting followed a session held earlier in the day by the BJP president with the new office-bearers, during which he emphasised the need to strengthen the party’s engagement with young people through “Yuva Samvad”, or sustained dialogue with the youth.

Notably, Nitin Nabin is scheduled to chair another organisational review meeting at the BJP headquarters extension at 10 am on Sunday. The session will bring together state BJP presidents, organisational general secretaries and state in-charges from across the country, according to News 18.
The meeting is expected to assess the party’s poll strategy for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab elections, besides other states scheduled for elections in 2027. Leaders will also deliberate on upcoming party programmes and broader organisational matters.
