Honda Sales Breakup July 2026 – YoY
The difference between Activa and the Shine 125–SP125 range was reduced to only 29,414 units in July. Honda’s 125cc motorcycles appear to be drawing buyers away from rival commuter brands and creating a new dominant force in the segment. Hornet 125 contributed another 3,859 units. Combined with Shine and SP125, Honda’s overall 125cc motorcycle volumes exceeded 1.80 lakh units during the month.
Unicorn, Dio And Shine 100
Unicorn maintained steady volumes with sales of 35,007 units, registering 14.51% YoY growth. However, sales declined by 6.94% compared to June. Dio recorded 25,903 units, down 7.33% YoY and 17.66% MoM. Shine 100 sales stood at 15,194 units, representing a 27.62% annual decline, although MoM volumes remained almost unchanged. SP160 was among the stronger performers with sales of 3,731 units. This represents growth of 67.01% YoY and 64.29% MoM. Honda 350cc Range Continues To Grow
Honda’s 350cc motorcycle range delivered another positive performance. CB350 sales reached 4,812 units, registering an impressive 132.24% YoY growth and 25.94% MoM improvement. Combined sales of H’ness CB350 and CB350RS stood at 2,484 units, up 112.31% YoY and 21.71% MoM. Together, Honda’s 350cc portfolio generated 7,296 units in July.
The steady growth indicates improving acceptance for Honda’s retro motorcycle range, which competes primarily with Royal Enfield’s 350cc products. However, Honda still has considerable ground to cover before it can challenge the segment leader on overall volumes.
Honda Big Bikes Sales – Honda NX500 recorded 33 units, followed by XL750 Transalp with eight units, CB1000R and CBR1000RR with seven units, and Gold Wing with three units. Honda can see a boost in their big bike sales soon, as they are all set to launch made in India CB500, that was showcased a few weeks ago.
Honda Electric Scooter Sales Still Low
Honda QC1 recorded sales of 1,160 units, growing by 460.39% YoY and 145.76% MoM. Activa e sales stood at only 104 units, although this was higher than the 64 units registered in June. Combined electric scooter sales reached 1,264 units.
While volumes are gradually improving, Honda remains far behind leading electric scooter manufacturers. Rivals such as TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak are registering around 50,000–60,000 monthly units, while Vida and Ather are operating near the 20,000-unit level.
Honda’s current electric scooters have therefore made only a limited impact on the market. To strengthen its position, the company is developing an all-new electric scooter specifically for India, which is expected to arrive next year.
