Maruti Ertiga Luxury Modification
The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is one of India’s most popular seven-seaters, largely because of its commercial use. But that doesn’t mean a workhorse can’t get a luxury makeover. Jai Car Emporium, an aftermarket and modification business based in Karol Bagh, Delhi, has proved this.
What you see here is a standard base-variant Ertiga Tour with an interior modification that beats anybody’s imagination. The owner chose a complete mango yellow-and-white colour theme, and the modifiers didn’t leave out any interior panel. Here’s a complete list of the modifications:
Dual-tone wrinkle-free leather upholstery
Dual-tone plastic treatment (all plastic panels have been painted in the matching colour)
All switchgear painted in matching colour
Starlight roofliner in matching colour
Ambient lighting strip on dashboard and doors
13-inch infotainment touchscreen
If this wasn’t enough to blow your mind, here’s the cost of this complete job. Only Rs. 35,000! For the cost of a single aftermarket sound system, you can give your car’s interior a complete makeover, with premium features like a big touchscreen and a starlight roofliner. Jai Car Emporium also claims they can do all this work from start to finish (assembly and fitment) in a single day. Moreover, they can do the same work in any colour and design the customer chooses.

Modified Cars: What MotorOctane Says
As mentioned earlier, Indian motor laws are not modification-friendly. However, in this case, the car’s exterior remains stock. But keep in mind that any electrical modifications could lead to insurance claim rejections and warranty issues. That said, if you want to give your car a unique, premium makeover, this is a pretty good option!
