Hyundai Palisade – Better Road Presence Than Fortuner?
The Palisade is one striking-looking SUV. The slab-like headlights and taillights, 21-inch alloys, huge dimensions, and massive front grille give it an impressive road presence. It may lack the ruggedness of the Fortuner, but it looks like a much more premium alternative. All in all, it looks unique and wouldn’t break a sweat to stand out in regular traffic.

Most-Feature Loaded SUV?
The Hyundai Creta is one of the most feature-loaded SUVs in its class, and you can expect the Palisade to do something similar. The global-spec unit is packed with features and we expect similiar features with the Indian-spec. Some of these features include – Level-2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof, powered front seats with ventilation and memory function, electric tailgate, 360-degree camera, power-folding 3rd-row seat, dual-screen layout (12.3-inch + 12.3-inch) and much more.
Furthermore, the Palisade is a 4.98m long car with a 2.9m wheelbase. This means that the interiors are spacious and practical. This space is particularly evident in the 2nd row and its 540-litre boot.

Hyundai Palisade – Powertrain
The Palisade is offered with 2 powertrain options globally. These options include a 3.5-litre V6 petrol (mated to an 8-speed AT) and a 2.5-litre petrol hybrid (mated to a 6-speed AT). The Palisade also gets an AWD drivetrain option. It is likely that the Indian-spec is offered with the hybrid as standard. It has hinted at the Creta hybrid coming soon, and the Palisade is likely to follow the Creta hybrid.

Hyundai Palisade – Pricing
The Palisade will be Hyundai’s most premium offering yet. This means that the Palisade won’t be cheap by any means. We could see it priced between Rs 50 lakh and Rs 60 lakh. The price seems fair for the road presence and features you get. Not to mention, if launched as a hybrid, you would make significant fuel cost savings.
