Mahindra Scorpio-based Pickup Launch –

The Scorpio N-based pickup was first previewed at Mahindra’s 2023 Independence Day event. Now, this Mahindra Scorpio N-based pickup will break the covers on August 14. While the brand has not yet revealed any details about the model, we expect this pickup to be offered in single-cab and double-cab options.

Pricing-wise, we expect this pickup to be priced between Rs. 27 lakh – Rs. 35 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). This will make it a more affordable option for those considering buying a new Hilux.

More About The Upcoming Mahindra Pickup

On the design front, the Mahindra Scorpio N-based pickup will mirror its styling elements from the Scorpio N SUV. However, we expect some more rugged design cues to make it look a bit different from the Mahindra SUV. Feature-wise, we expect the pickup to carry some features from its sibling, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25–inch instrument cluster, a 540-degree camera, a sunroof, automatic AC, terrain modes, and more.

Under the hood, expect this vehicle to use the 2.0-litre turbo petrol and the 2.2-litre diesel engine options. A six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic gearbox options could handle transmission duties. To support its off-road nature, a 4WD configuration will also be on offer.

The Scorpio N pickup will likely rival the Toyota Hilux in India’s lifestyle pickup truck segment. As said, we expect it to be a more affordable alternative to Toyota’s lifestyle pickup vehicle.
