Tata Avinya X Spotted
It is quite easy to spot that this is the Avinya thanks to the healthy dimensions and sharp design language. It is quite difficult to pinpoint the exact length and width of the test mule, but from the looks of it, it’s pretty massive. The low-profile tyres, along with a lengthy wheelbase and width, make it stand out instantly. The design language closely resembles the concept image with the connected LED DRL and a vertical headlamp setup up front. At the rear, it also gets slim taillights like the concept model.
To further ooze elegance, the test mule also flaunts retractable door handles, frameless doors and low ground clearance. At first glance, many would struggle to identify that it is a Tata.

Tata Avinya X – What To Expect?
Industry sources have revealed that the Avinya models would use the Chery-JLR’s Freelander platform. It was supposed to be based on the EMA platform of upcoming JLR EV models, but due to some difficulties, Tata decided to make a switch. Powertrain details remain a mystery, but one thing we know for sure is that it will be an EV. Not to mention, Tata has received a decent response for its QWD(AWD) models, and the Avinya could benefit from a dual-motor setup as well.
Tata is expected to load it with luxuries like a panoramic glass roof, Level-2+ ADAS, a 540-degree camera, ventilated and powered front seats, an electric tailgate, etc. Interior quality is expected to be top-notch, because after all Tata will be marketing it as a luxury SUV.
