The new Mahindra Scorpio N has already started reaching dealer yards, hinting that its launch might happen in the coming month. Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift – New Features Added
With the update, Mahindra won’t be messing with the design and dimensions of its popular SUV, the Scorpio. The exterior design will be kept identical, obviously; why change when it ain’t broken? But that’s not the story when we open the doors. A completely revamped interior, with new features.
The dashboard now features a new 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and the AC vent position has been changed. The Scorpio N already had the ADAS, but now it gets a 360-degree camera (finally). Overall, the Scorpio N might look like the Thar Roxx from the inside, but with 3-row seats.
Another added feature is a panoramic sunroof; earlier, it used to feature a single-pane unit. Other notable updates include a 65W Type-C fast charger for the 2nd row, toggles for drive modes, Hill descent control, hazard light, traction control, and others. However, Mahindra still missed out on offering dedicated AC vents for the third row.
Powertrain
The Mahindra Scorpio N will be powered by the same 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine (200bhp & 380Nm), and a 2.2-litre diesel engine (175bhp & 400Nm). Both the manual and automatic transmission options will be available.
Launch & Expected Price
As the updated Mahindra Scorpio N has already started reaching dealerships, we expect it to launch in August. Industry sources suggest that bookings for this model might start by the first week of August. Currently, the Mahindra Scorpio N is priced between Rs. 16.34 lakh – Rs. 30.72 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). But with the addition of new features, we expect the pricing to be hiked by nearly Rs. 50,000 to Rs 80,000, depending on the variants.
