Mahindra BE 07 Spotted
A new unique SUV was spotted testing with heavy camouflage. However, thanks to another test mule bearing purple and white camouflage suggested that this is a Mahindra SUV. Moreover, the overall shape, size and the wheels confirmed that this is the upcoming BE 07. As it was covered completely in camouflage, not many details were revealed. However, we got a glimpse of the SUV’s interior, revealing new details. The BE 06, which is a smaller SUV, gets only a dual 12.3-inch screen setup.

However, this test mule revealed that the BE 07 will most likely get a triple-screen setup – much like the XEV 9e. Even the concept model of the BE 07 had a triple-screen setup, and it is highly likely that it will be offered in the production version. Even though Mahindra seems to have installed auxiliary taillights, the BE 07 will likely get connected LED taillights, similar to the ones we have seen in the BE 06 and BE 07 concept. While these were the only details revealed, here’s what we expect to see in the upcoming BE 07.

What To Expect?
The Mahindra BE 07 is expected to offer very similar features to its XEV siblings. Being a larger car than the BE 06, we expect this to be the direct rival to the Tata Harrier EV. And to compete with the Harrier EV, the BE 07 will likely be loaded to the brim. We expect to see features like:
Panoramic glass roof
Powered and ventilated front seats
Ventilated rear seats
Powered boss mode
540-degree camera
Level 2+ ADAS
Ambient lighting
Driving modes
AR Head-up display
16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system
Summon mode
Auto park assist
The key highlight, however, is expected to be the powertrain here. Rumours suggest that the BE 07 could get a larger 80kWh battery pack along with AWD. If not, we expect the BE 07 to get 3 battery pack options: a 59kWh battery pack, a 70kWh battery pack and a 79kWh battery pack. The larger battery pack is expected to be offered with a dual motor setup, making it Mahindra’s first AWD electric SUV. Moreover, we expect this to become the most powerful Indian SUV, overtaking the recently launched Tata Sierra EV (313bhp & 504Nm).
Considering the Tata Sierra EV’s rear motor makes 207bhp, and the front motor makes 138bhp, the combined output results in 313bhp. Now, if we apply the same math with the BE 07, the rear motor will likely make the same 282bhp; combined with an additional front motor, it could result in an impressive power output of around 325-350bhp, along with AWD. It is likely that Mahindra will also offer off-road-centric features, to cause some trouble to the Tata Harrier EV.

Mahindra BE 07 – Launch And Price
Mahindra has usually launched its EVs towards the end of Q3 or beginning of Q4 of a financial year. We can expect the same to apply for the BE 07, as Mahindra may launch it around December 2026 or January 2027. Mahindra could price this SUV between Rs 22 lakh and Rs 35 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
