Upcoming Nissan 7-Seater SUV: Design
Whilst Nissan has not yet revealed any design details of its upcoming 7-seater SUV. We expect the model to carry the design cues from the flagship Nissan Patrol. The brand has already promoted the Tekton as the baby Patrol, and the same strategy could be applied with the 7-seater SUV.
Dimension-wise, this new SUV is expected to be larger than the Tekton to comfortably accommodate 7 people. The details are yet to be revealed, but the SUV could boast a length of nearly 4.5m to 4.6m.

Tech Features
This upcoming Nissan 7-seater SUV could carry over the feature suite from the Tekton. The Nissan Tekton is quite a loaded SUV in terms of features – it gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging pad, powered and ventilated front seats and more in its package.
Along with all these features, the 7-seater SUV could get some more features dedicated to the 3-row passengers, like AC vents and a Type-C charging port.

Safety Features
The Nissan Tekton, being a sister SUV to the Renault Duster, has fetched a full 5-star safety rating at the BNCAP crash test facility. Now, the upcoming 7-seater model based on the Tekton could achieve the same feat. Moreover, the SUV will also boast several safety features, including 6 airbags (standard), a 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, an electronic parking brake, front and rear parking sensors and more in its package.

Powertrain
Speaking of the powertrain, the Nissan Tekton-based 7-seater SUV could carry over the existing engine option from the Tekton. This includes a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine (100bhp & 166Nm), a 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine (163bhp & 280Nm). However, being a longer SUV than the Tekton, the 1.0-litre engine might feel underpowered; hence, Nissan could also look at including a 1.8-litre NA petrol hybrid engine (160bhp & 172Nm) from the Renault Duster.
