Tata Sierra EV Price – What To Expect
Currently, the Tata Sierra sits between the Curvv and the Harrier, and the same case will continue with the ev. The Sierra.ev will be placed between the Curvv.ev and Harrier.ev, making it easier to understand how it could be priced. We expect the Tata Sierra EV price range to start at around Rs 19 lakh (on-road, Mumbai), and the top variant could easily touch 27-28 lakh. When comparing the base variants, Tata EVs are usually priced around Rs 5-7 lakh higher than their ICE counterparts. Such pricing would make it cheaper than the Mahindra BE6 by around Rs 1-2 lakh.
One key detail about the Sierra has already been revealed – QWD (dual electric motors). However, you would be paying a hefty premium for its off-roading capability. For example, the Harrier.ev QWD costs around Rs 1 – 1.1 lakh more than the equivalent single-motor variant. A similar price hike is expected for the Sierra.ev QWD.

What Else?
With the EV, we expect Tata to offer a 65kWh pack as standard. In comparison, Mahindra’s EVs offer smaller 59kWh packs on the base trims. You can expect a claimed range of more than 500km from this pack. Expectedly, it would also get a larger 75kWh pack on the mid- and higher-spec variant, which is expected to offer 600+km of range. The QWD will likely be available only with the bigger battery pack.
From the teaser, we can see that the ICE Sierra’s design language is similar to the electric Sierra’s. Except for the aero-friendly wheels, QWD badge and the closed-off front end, it is difficult to distinguish between the two. We expect a similar case with the feature list. The Sierra.ev is expected to get a triple-screen layout, Level-2+ ADAS, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats and much more. But a key addition over the ICE version could be a 540-degree camera.
