New Tata SUV Aacelift

Tata has given us a glimpse of the Tata Punch.ev facelift. The changes over the outgoing model are subtle. The front grille and bumper have been redesigned, but the LED DRLs and headlight unit look identical to the current Punch.ev. Moreover, the front scuff plate design has been revised.

While Tata hasn’t shown the rear profile, we expect it to borrow the connected taillight design from its ICE counterpart. We can also spot a new “Sunlit Yellow” colour scheme, adopted from the Harrier. We will get a comprehensive look at the facelift when Tata launches it on February 20.

Like on the outside, the cabin will likely receive minor changes. A few of the expected updates include a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen, a powered driver seat and an ADAS suite. The rest of the equipment list would remain similar and include features such as a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, electric ORVMs, an auto-dimming IRVM, an electric sunroof, and front ventilated seats.

The Punch.ev will be offered with two powertrains – a 25 kWh (82hp & 114 Nm) and a 35 kWh (122hp & 190 Nm) battery pack. These options will be carried over from the outgoing Punch.ev. The claimed range for the 25 kWh pack is 265 km, while the 35 kWh pack can go upto 365 km on a single charge. The outgoing Punch.ev is priced at Rs 10.39 lakh and Rs 15.31 lakh, and we expect a small price hike of Rs 50,000 to 60,000 with the facelift.
