Toyota Innova Hycross Facelift – What To Expect?

Recently, a test mule of the Innova Hycross was spotted, suggesting an imminent launch. The test mule was heavily camouflaged, making it difficult to identify the aesthetic updates. But we could see revised bumpers, connected taillight, newer alloys and more colour options once the facelift is unveiled.
The Hycross is long overdue for an update, and we can finally see it getting one next year. And like with all facelifts, the pricing would see a hike. Currently, the Hycross costs between Rs 23.62 lakh and Rs 40.13 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai), and we could see a Rs 75,000 to Rs 1 lakh increase with the facelift. Many industry sources indicate that Toyota is planning to introduce cheaper hybrid variants to offset the loss of the Innova Crysta and reduce the Rs 6 lakh gap between the non-hybrid and hybrid trims. Newer hybrid variants could now start from Rs 28 lakh (on-road, Mumbai), which is almost Rs 4 lakh cheaper than the current entry-level hybrid.

Powertrain options would be carried over from the outgoing Hycross. The 2.0-litre NA petrol and the 2.0-litre petrol-hybrid engines would also be offered with the facelift. Gearbox options could include a CVT (for the NA petrol) and e-CVT (for the hybrid).
