Skoda Kodiaq Gets ADAS!
Skoda has updated its Kodiaq for 2026, and it now gets one of India’s favourite safety features – ADAS. Until now, the Kodiaq has had 3 variants in India, and none of them featured ADAS. However, the brand has now added ADAS to the Sportline variant as well as the L&K variant, which is quite a good move. The ADAS suite consists of features like
Adaptive cruise control
Blind spot monitoring
Emergency braking
Rear cross traffic alert
Exit warning
Lane keep assist
This is the first time that Skoda has offered ADAS in its cars for the Indian market. While its sister car, the Tayron R-Line, as well as the Tiguan R-Line, were both offered with the safety feature. Along with this addition, the brand has confirmed that its cars from the lower segment will also be offered with ADAS in the next two years. For the MY2026 Kodiaq, Skoda has discontinued two colour options – Steel grey (Sportline) and Red velvet (L&K). The brand hasn’t yet revealed the pricing of the MY2026 Kodiaq, but we can expect a price hike of around Rs 1 lakh for the addition of ADAS. The existing model carries a price tag ranging from Rs 47.81 lakh to Rs 55.49 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). That said, what else does the Kodiaq have to offer?
