Codenamed YMC, we have seen this new 7-seater being tested on Indian roads, and we have now received a new set of spyshots, revealing the interiors of the model. New Maruti 7-seater SUV Interior Spotted
The new spyshots give a glimpse of what could be on the inside of this upcoming Maruti 7-seater SUV. We can see the dashboard layout, equipped with a dual-screen setup (for infotainment and instrumentation). A similar kind of layout is already on the Maruti e Vitara. So, we believe that Maruti could offer a similar suite of features from its 5-seater EV to this upcoming SUV.
That said, the feature list could include:
10.1-inch infotainment screen
10.25-inch instrument cluster
Powered & ventilated front seats
Glass roof
Wireless charging pad
Sliding and reclining rear seats
Level 2 ADAS
8-speaker Infinity premium sound system
360-degree camera
TPMS
Along with this set of features, there might be some more additions like dedicated AC vents and a charging socket for the third-row passengers.

What Else?
With that, we expect the Maruti 7-seater to be based on the e Vitara SUV. That said, it could even get the same battery pack options from the e Vitara: a 49kWh and a 61kWh. However, due to its extended design, the total range could be affected.

Maruti has not yet revealed an exact launch timeline for this new 7-seater SUV. However, we expect this new SUV to launch somewhere around early- to mid-2027. Talking about the pricing, we expect this new Maruti 7-seater to be priced between Rs. 20 lakh – Rs. 27 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
